I am Ross Wilson, the new Chargé at the American Embassy in Kabul.
I recently arrived in this country, I’ve started meeting leaders, and I am honored to introduce myself to you.
Many challenges lie ahead for this country. My American colleagues and I will continue to partner with you as Afghanistan builds a future of peace, prosperity, and democracy.
I am excited to be in this country. I’ve already experienced warm hospitality, enjoyed Afghan bread, and taken in the beauty of the mountains surrounding this city.
I look forward to making new friends and to learning more about this new home.
